Description
Delighted friend cares even more for Grey Man than other books; as usual intensely busy but had some good golf at St Andrews which set him up; not yet had time to read Nancy Noon; habits been somewhat migratory during these last months, waited for quiet spell not yet arrived; left book at Penicuik, will write as soon as gets time to read; however read introductory chapters, thinks them very fresh crisp and bright; somebody wrote saying either was author or related to author of Nancy Noon (didn't seem very clear about which) but recognised at once as near relative of Ananias so stuffed communication into waste paper basket; hopes to have game someday, give good hard run for it; beat crack Glasgow professor Lodge at St Andrews last day there, what think of that
