Description
Thanks for letter; just arrived in town having been in Scotland for fortnight where letters followed; will call one morning before long but will be extremely busy writing at new story until 30th; after that will see as much as necessary; cannot look up Whistler until that date (takes too much time); glad Grey Man does so admirably; picture of course not finished, won't be till November; American accounts very good considering Moss Hags not love story; Morley's hotel remains address but taken quiet room to get on with writing (too many callers here); thanks for various cheques received through Watt (nice plasters for sore places); send Macpherson copy on his account (writes in National Observer); PS ripping review in Chronicle
