Just line in reference to recent conversation to put on record that Frederick Macmillan very kindly agreed should Mr Crockett wish it to publish novel purchased for serial publication in Macmillan's Magazine during year 1901 in book form sometime during autumn of that year and other novel which as at present arranged is to be published serially during year 1901 in The Graphic in book form sometime during early Spring of year 1902; this arrangement would take place of one whereby were to publish Graphic story in book form during Autumn of 1901 and own story in book form in spring of 1902; thanking for having so courteously met Mr Crockett's wishes in this matter
